Mission Statement – VFW Post 5518

At VFW Post 5518, our mission is to honor those who have served by building a strong, caring community where veterans, service members, and their families always have a home. We foster camaraderie among veterans; advocate for their earned rights and benefits; and serve our community through meaningful programs, events, and youth engagement. Through our Veterans Memorial Youth Sports Complex, community outreach, and support for deployed troops and their families, we strive to preserve the legacy of service, strengthen civic responsibility, and uplift both our veterans and the next generation.
